Rincon de la Vieja National Park is a popular tourist destination where you can observe nature, see the effects of volcanic activity, swim in mud springs, and have rafting on the river. You will have the opportunity to go hiking in the park, horseriding, rafting, and rock climbing.
Rincon Volcano is the most accessible of the volcanoes in the range, although it is still remote enough that is has remained a natural wilderness, with as yet little adverse impact from tourism. The highest peak stands at 1916 meters above sea level and the National Park that belongs to the Guanacaste Conservation Area is also part of the World Heritage Site.
