San Cristobal de Las Casas is the most picturesque city located in the center of Mexico, in the state of Chiapas, at an altitude of 2100 m above sea level, in the picturesque valley of the Vall de Jovel. This is a colorful mountain town in which the Maya Indians who still inhabit the city live according to their customs and faith. There is a mixture of paganism and Catholicism in the town.
